Create a public project in Todoist

Available for

    Experimental feature

    Warning

This is an experimental feature. This means that:

    • We do not currently review any content that is shared. By sharing a public project, you are confirming that you are 18 or older, and that you agree to the Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
    • We are still testing and developing this feature before it’s released to all users.
    • We are keen to hear what you think! Please share it through this form.

In Todoist, we’ve created several different access levels for projects so that you can set up your project in whichever way best suits your workflow.

Once such access level is public. Public projects can be shared with collaborators who do not have a Todoist account, and make it possible for them to view tasks in your project.

Is it safe to share and view public projects?

Security is one of our top concerns when implementing new features. With that in mind, please note the following:

    • This feature is currently being developed and tested. During the development period, we will not review any content before it is shared.
    • By sharing a public project, you are confirming that you are 18 or older, and that you agree to the Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
    • If you receive a link for a public project, you should ensure the link was shared by a trusted person before you open the link.
    • If you share a link to a public project, anyone with the link can view your project. It is therefore important that you do not add files or content that cannot be shared publicly to a public project.
