Unsupported billing currencies and what to do next

Older subscriptions billed in RUB or BRL, are no longer supported via web. If you're affected, you'll receive an email explaining the change and next steps.

This change applies to a small number of existing subscriptions via the web. If you're paying through the App Store, Play Store, or already using one of our supported currencies, no action is required.

Why is this happening?

To keep our billing system reliable and consistent across regions, we only support a set list of currencies on Stripe.

A small number of lifetime and historic subscriptions were created before this rule existed. These subscriptions continue renewing in currencies that are no longer supported by our billing system, which may lead to billing errors or failed renewals in the future.

Moving these subscriptions to a supported currency ensures everything continues working smoothly for you.

What do I need to do?

If you're affected, you'll receive an email with:

  • a clear explanation of the change
  • a form where you can choose a new supported currency
  • a deadline for updating your selection before your next renewal

Choosing a currency takes less than a minute and prevents interruptions to your subscription.

If you don’t respond before January 15, your subscription will switch to a default supported currency (USD).

You can subscribe through the App Store or Play Store instead, where additional local currencies may be available.

What will change?

Only the billing currency changes while your plan, data, features and the renewal date will stay the same.

What if I don’t receive an email?

If you didn’t receive an email with the survey to choose the currency, you are probably not affected. If you are not sure, contact us and we’ll review your setup.

Can I switch to a different country’s pricing?

At this time, subscriptions can only move to one of our supported billing currencies and may be converted automatically based on your location if no selection is made.

If you have questions about available options, feel free to contact us.
